I've had the fuel system done, completely plumbed with braided steel / rubber lines.

It's about 2 years old now and it started leaking, not from the fittings but right thru the

hose the whole length of the truck!!  Like a 'weeper' type lawn watering hose!!  Needless

to say, I was not impressed.  So I have re-plumbed as much as possible with 1/2"

aluminum tubing.  There will be an 18" piece of #8 braided hose from the frame up to

the fuel pressure regulator (mounted on the RH valve cover) and two short #6 sections

of braided hose from the regulator to the carb.

I've got the fuel cell mounted now.  It's a 15 gallon unit, with a Ford type sending

unit from Triangle Engineering.  It's aluminum with safety foam, very nice quality,

I highly recommend their products.  I designed the frame with this fuel cell in mind.

I added the 1" square tubing frame work around the cell to add a little protection

and much needed weight in the very rear of the truck.  I have installed the fuel pump,

filter and pressure regulator.  The pump is a Mallory 140 with matching Mallory billet

filter and non-return type pressure regulator.  The fuel lines are Russell braided steel.
